Chief Compliance Officer | Portfolio Manager, Terra Cotta Investment Counsel
Kenji is the Chief Compliance Officer and Portfolio Manager for Terra Cotta Investment Counsel Inc. (TCIC). TCIC is the OSC registrant, a subsidiary of The Terra Cotta Financial Group, providing portfolio management and exempt market dealer services. Kenji is responsible for all private client investment management and execution. He creates and manages Terra Cotta proprietary models and establishes all investment processes; reporting on compliance, regulatory, and reputational risks across the firm.
Prior to joining Terra Cotta Investment Counsel Inc., Kenji worked as an Analyst and Portfolio Manager for a Canadian fund company with over $1.5 billion in assets under management. Kenji holds a Commerce degree from McMaster University and earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2002. Kenji is a basketball fan and when not in the office, you’ll find him cheering on his Toronto Raptors as often as he can.
